I made this homemade tandoori masala powder.it’s easy to just go out and buy store marinade, but you can’t beat this spectacular blend of spice and taste.

I use this masala for all my tandoori recipes like chicken tandoori, panner etc. This taste is so delicious. I bet this beats all the readymade masala available outside.

You can make this spice mix ahead of time and store it in an airtight container for a month or two.

Having the spice mix handy makes creating a tasty meal a simple matter of marinating and grilling your dish.

Ingredients

  • Coriander Seeds – 1 cup

  • Cumin Seeds – 1 Tbsp

  • Cloves – 5-6

  • Green Cardamom – 5-6

  • Large Cardamom – 2 pieces

  • Cinnamon Sticks

  • Fennal Seeds – 1 Tbsp

  • Black Paper- 1 Tbsp

  • Kashmiri Red Chilies – 7-8

Directions

  • Roast Coriander Seeds, Cumin Seeds and Fennal Seeds for 2 min in a pan.
  • Then Add Cloves, Cinnamon, Green Cardamom, Large Cardamom,Black Paper. Roast them as well.
  • Add Kashmiri Red Chilies and roast them well.
  • Switch off the stove and keep aside for cool down.
  • Once cool down add all into the grinder.
  • Grind them well. Chicken Tandoori Masala Powder is ready. Keep them in a air tight jar.
