I am grown up in India and kesar Peda is most famous sweet in India. I am a big fan of Peda. Basically i am from Maharashtra and peda is very famous from Nursihawadi. There is very famous Dattatray temple.its tourist attraction. and its always crowded. Kesar peda is most famous sweet in Nursihawadi. most of the shopkeeper make their own peda and they sell it.when me and my family went there we definitely purchase peda.it was so tasty. Guys whenever you goto the Nursihawadi dont forget to buy Kesar peda or Kandi Peda.

Sunday is diwali. sweets are main ingredients in diwali occasion.so i am going to make kesar peda. I will share a whole process of making kesar peda. Peda is basically made from fresh khova..But i am going to make peda using milkmaid and milk powder.

Ingredients

  • Milkmaid 1 tin.

  • 1.2 Cup of Milk Powder.

  • 2 tsp Ghee.

  • Saffron Milk.

  • Elaichi Powder.

  • Pistachio (For garnish).

Directions

  • In a pan or Kadai add 1 tsp ghee.then add milkmaid.mix it well.
  • Then add milk powder. Saute until mixture becomes thick.
  • Once the mixture becomes thick add Saffron milk.mix it well.
  • After that add Elaichi powder and 1 tsp of ghee.
  • mix the mixture well. Saute till ingredients gets dissolve into mixture.
  • Keep aside the mixture. let it cool down. apply some ghee on your palm before rolling it.
  • Once the mixture cool down take one scoop of mixture using spoon and roll it. roll each of peda into small balls.
  • Gently press the peda and put pista on center of the peda.
  • Kesar Peda is ready to serve.either you can refrigerate peda or serve as it.
